We'll see innovations in urban planning side by side with some of the classiest homes NYC has to offer. Queens is underrepresented among the many NYC tours. And we here at Streetwise New York Tours are Queens residents and aim to rectify that. We tour Corona, an Italian turned Latino neighborhood and then go to Elmhurst's Chinatown. After a helping of history and a couple doses of dumplings we head into Colombian and Indian Jackson Heights, and then make our way through the Mediterranean cosmopolis that is Astoria, a Greek and Middle Eastern neighborhood. We hit the Queens frontier of LIC, industrial maze turned Manhattan yuppie outpost, in time to watch the sun set over the sky line from the gorgeous green waterfront of Gantry Park.
